Lord Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 His genius wasn't just there in batting https://x.com/FastAndFierce78/status/1990924801028805074
Suhaan Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 Should have been dropped for ever from Odis there and then He needs to be bunched with badada Vada and Koolie and asked to retire Badada Vada and Kohli still can make positive impact but this pussyman feels pressure even in random IPL games Number, Stan AF and raki05 3
vvvslaxman Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 That converts into 17.5 overs 66 runs. wow that is more than 1/3 of overs. That is as bad as SUnny's 36 in current era.

Probably the biggest upset in the sport, even 1983 final teams weren't this much mismatched on paper. Let us be honest here, if we had to pick a combined Ind-Aus team on the eve of that match, not one Indian would have made it. In fact even ROTW XI is weaker than Aussie XI. bowl_out Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 How he continues to remain ODI wicketkeeper nobody knows. High time we make Jurel or Pant keep in ODI Stan AF 1
Gollum Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 (edited) Also goes to show that dropping a game or 2 in group stage is always better. Forces you to explore plan B, C, removes complacency....also good to get the bad day out of your system. Aussies in 03 and 07 were so legendary, both undefeated campaigns and peaked in the finals. putrevus Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 The joke is this guy is still playing for India. How many more chances will he get to screw up .

With all due respect to women's cricket, it just doesn't compare to the pressure, skill level, attention that men cricket gets. You can say women avenged CWG Finals loss but it doesn't avenge the WC 23 Also this was a semi. We've beaten them in 2007 WT20 and in other knockouts too. Finals is still a different thing MK55 1
Sooda Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 (edited) Jurel could be a good WK /bat coming in at 5 or 6. Has shown the ability to accelerate in IPL too. Rohit, Virat and KL have obvious replacements IMHO in the shape of Jaiswal, Sai S, and Jurel. Needs to happen soon. Should have in Aus. I hope South Africa home series is a farewell Edited November 19, 2025 by Sooda Manucrick 1
putrevus Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 Seeing what Sai, Jurel did in the test and also in other matches. They are not good to replace even KL rahul forget replacing Kohli and Rohit.
VT87 Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 After 47/ 3 when great Gill (4) and Goat Iyer 4 shi@@ their pants is not a bad innings people forget what Jadeja, Gill , SKY and Iyer did in the game even if two of them clicked that match we could have respectable score but somehow they easily escaped for scrutiny and kL turned out to be sacrificed lamb
Gollum Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 Jaddu's batting that day isn't talked about enough. Lord 1

Kohli sucked badly on turning tracks... I'd, say Rohit's ultra aggression and hitting is surely been missed by India more. India would lose Ranchi test vs England if not for Rohit's initial ultra aggressive start That was our last good 4th inns run chase and rare win in years.

Yeah that is why Kohli still has highest avg of all Indian batsmen in India even after all his struggles , more than Sachin, Dravid and including your Rohit. Kohli's problem was he spread himself too thin by playing all formats and got burnt out and never worked on his technical glitches which creep in every player's games during long career. He would done just fine against that England in that series. Stop putting Rohit in same sentence as Kohli. Edited November 20, 2025 by putrevus

A batter who can hit sixes at will and use his feet plus can slog sweep is much more valuable. I haven't seen many good knocks from Kohli on turning tracks... Based on evidence he would fail vs Maharaj Harmer easily in Eden last week. So no upgrade detected 2020 Mumbai test he failed.. Post 2021 he was downright pathetic everywhere. A strict mid tier test batter. Deservedly finished with avg of 46 Edited November 20, 2025 by Lone Wolf
