It appears as if people are simply waiting for a tool to be used for RW v LW, Ind v Pak, Party X v Party Y, Religion A v Religion B, etc.

Ranvir Singh did a great job as "Dhurandhar ". While people are raving about Akshaye Khanna - Ranvir Singh gave the most powerful performance.

 

 Too many cinematic liberties. Found the movie to be a bit over-rated to be honest. 

 

Certainly not a movie I would want to watch for a second time. Although, I would probably watch part 2.

Its not just the editing.

 

It was highly exaggerated and it made it unappealing - for example a scene showed that the Mumbai 26/11 attackers including Kasab, just walking into that space occupied by bigwig politicians, that ISI guy ( Arjun Rampal ) etc and picking up guns. Thats unreal ****. They are lowest of the low minions. It cannot obviously ever occur that way in reality.

 

Sanjay Dutt was incredibly hammy as was Rakesh Bedi.  The whole hype around Akshaye Khanna is just that hype- he is a very average actor. 

 

The real performer was Ranvir Singh.

 

I found Raazi to be way more authentic.

Well..the cinematic liberty has to be taken for the moolah. Else the economic aspect does not make any sense.

Whatever be the conflict, I will be firmly on the side opposite to abrahamics. Those mofos do not understand the concept of "Live and let live".

Watched for the second time today

 

  1. Movie is not propagandist as i thought.
  2. Shows many pakistani characters in neutral light.
  3. Exceptional set design. 
  4. Sanjay dutt gave an average performance. Dam nahi thaa.Akshay khanna should get a best actor award. The acting prformance in general is top class. The actors look good too.
  5. Uzair baloch character is under rated. At many times he gives opportunities for hamza and treats him as a friend. The actor played well too. Hope that guy has good future in bollywood.
  6. The action set pieces where rehman takes revenge is a piece of absolute cinema. The climax is below average.

The two places it drags are the love track ( the chase ) and the climax fight. Also too much of shaky cam to hide the non agility of actors.

Sanjay dutt could hardly move. But it is sort of fine as the real world character was sort of late middle aged.
