That is no excuse.  He has had a good couple of IPL's and he was good in SMAT last year. 

 

Shahbaz averages 61.xx with the ball in IPL over the last 4 seasons at an economy of 10.3.

 

Strike rate of 123 with bat as well.

Its just couple of matches, should try players who make more sense and are upgrade. Axar will be back. 

Atleeast if there is time try out where improvements can be done.

He'll anyway not play. Washington will play both games.  Or they might even play Samson and then have Dube/Abhishek bowl 4 overs among themselves. Since Rana will bat at 8, batting is covered.
