No it isn’t but because of the politics surrounding the game winning it becomes a matter of national pride if not for it, it is not worth it. PCT is one level above minnows & two levels below SA, Aus (typical Aus, not the one which has landed for this WC).

Without TIlak it would have been different in final

without Abhishek preliminarly rounds would have been differnet

Hotstar till yesterday was serving only it's platform ads for all the non india matches.

 

For the first time all the primetime ads appeared in yesterday's match and the ad rates must have been pretty high.

 

BCCI and ICC are milking and shoving it as a rivalry only to mint money for the broadcasters.

 

I felt nothing after yesterday's win. Will feel great only if they lose against minnows.
