They messed up the mega auction and bet on wrong horses in mini auction. Next year could be same as this one (3 year cycle). In 2028 mega auction, they can build a team around Samson+core and a better coach. RCB exact opposite - struck gold in mega auction and might dominate 1 more year before squad is split up.

That's smart of CSK and it's on CSK fans and braindead Srikanth. If anyone thought Dhoni would play this season, they were idiots. It was pretty clear that Dhoni would stay away and probably the only game he would feature in would be CSK's last home game. And that too would've been a "guest appearance" where he faced 2-4 deliveries for old times sake. I wonder what Srikanth was expecting
