Simon Doull criticized Stokes for missing a fairly straight ball. Ward had issue against it :) They always think only peach of a dleivery can get rid of Stokes. Too many stokes fan boys

There is ample evidence to deem this as an unsatisfactory pitch. But being a home of cricket they will doe verything to make sure it does not happen.

Ward says it takes 12 million to get the pitch redone. That means no cricket at Lords for 2 years. Seems ike Lords pitch needs a replacement.

Not an ideal surface but I will give them a pass coz off late English tracks have been pretty sporty.

 

Never forgive Saffer and Kiwi snake pits though.  They are right there in the trash with Indian and Pakistani dustbowls

God forbid, India makes a pitch where 16 wickets are lost in 60 overs, you'll have all English cricket writers and their mothers complain about pitch tampering and what not

Fielding is the difference. Also Henry being 20% fit played a role in it. Why did they pla him when he is not fit.
