Even with off side rule they score goal not parking with 30 minutes to go. ONly difference with no pressure they didn't mind playing attacking football. Ofcourse France having a terrible GK helped England. Majority of the time ball was in the penalty area of one side or other side.

Look at our kids lol under-12 team look like under-8. Still won the final in this best youth club football tournament.  They have contest for different ages. lowest age group is under-12. Indian club has beaten Brazil

Nah these are Sunday league youth club teams. India used to win these earlier as well.

The only minerva game i consider an achievement is actually the one they lost against a spanish 5th div team 2-1.  It was somewhat decent exposure for kids against highest quality opponent they faced so far

 

1-2 of these kids will make it to U17 squad max and play SAFF U17 and BD will be bringing origin players and cycle repeats

Going back to the semi vs Spain - Dembele as usual vs a organized team was crap.

 

But what about that guy Olise? Google "Olise did not win a single dribble vs Spain" ..... I mean look at his stats besides  not winning a single dribble. Not a single shot on goal, 76% pass efficiency and 20 turnovers.

 

And everyone is like oh that Olise this and oh that Olise that....... please....

 

Olise and Dembele are typical Deschamps players....

FIFA should do away with these games.  Hard to find motivation for such a farce.

At least give the bronze medalist direct qualification to next WC, will add context to such a game. 

 

WC qualification especially for European sides is quite tricky. Italy, Denmark, Ukraine, Wales, Serbia, Poland, Hungary, all missed out this time. Italy is world #12, Denmark #20, others also ranked 30-40.

England played like Sh*& in the actual event. Argentina took gamble in all games and won. Over defending was not there as there was not much at stake. This is how they should have played.
