If Gill comes into the side you might see suthar. But you might also see prasdham.

A bilateral series esp after T20 WC is the perfect time to try new players, strategies, experiment and blood youngsters.

 

Instead they fill the team with same old washed players - the oldest of which is Varun C who turns 35 next month. 

 

No planning or transition whatsoever.

These mystery spinners normally have a shelf life of 1-2 years.

The problem is we don't have too many other options to pick from.

This is one format where "backing period" should not be long. India should g for defensive bowlers if they can't find a magical bowlers.
