Without Yuvraj our T20 is a real sh*tty team no offense to Raina. Anyway he is not in form either. Rest of the guys are just pretenders or IPL bullies.ome are not even that. We are going to get canned three years in a row. VIru and Gauti.. a mysterious combo. When they come off India will be certain to win. But Gauti was bounced out in 2 t20 series in a row.

Same way Jaddu should not be in the squad. This guy is a useless panauti. If he doesn't screw up with his bat he will certainly do with his bowling and vice versa or both. You need as many match winners as possible in a T20 game. Just segregate match winners BATTING Suresh Raina Sehwag Gambhir Rohit Sharma These 4 are clear cut match winners. Can win the game on their own given a set up. I am talking only about T20 not ODIs. So not including Kohli here. He takes time to get set which can hurt you badly. Dhoni is not a match winner in T20. If anything he can lose matches. He is good only when there is a cameo to be played. Assuming he doesn't lose his captaincy he will have to come at no.6 or something. Gauti Viru Kohli ( will not be omitted for sure) Raina Rohit Dhoni Irfan Ashwin Aaron Ojha Dinda/Yadav/ 12 th man Bhuva kumar (all rounder) No matter which team we pick we will be having a poor lower order batting. This is where Dhoni will pick the panauti in place of Ojha.
rkt.india Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I guess if Pathan is coming 7 then we dont need Jaddu at 8, as we will have Ashwin coming at 8 and if 6-7 cant do it, I doubt 8, 9, 11 can do it. T20 is short and its the job of first 6 batsmen to last those 20 overs if they cant last then team is hopeless.

Umesh Yadav/ PK Rest of Squad: Umesh/PK Aaron Jaddu Rahane Uthappa (Backup Keeper) I think this is the most competitive XI we can put out. Umesh/PK is debatable, I'd take PK and bowl out his 4 overs in the first 10 overs of the innings, but there is an argument for Umesh's raw pace, obviously. I like Aaron too, but couldn't find a place for him. Can't take out Zak, and taking out irfan would weaken the batting too much.

Kohli will be picked, I am sure, but I doubt he will have much impact on our performances in T20 as he is not typical T20 player, great ODI player. He has an ordinary T20 record till now. He is not an impact player wrt T20s.

Even GG is not an impact player , he just seems in better from atm . Virat if he finds his touch can score as quickly as any other batsmen in the Indian team . Hes a must for every format .

Kohli does not have that flair when he starts his innings. He has to play risky shots to score without conviction and gets out more often in T20s.
