No one deserves a chance in the Indian team unless he has the potential to be a good international cricketer. You pick the players who you think have the best chance of winning games for your country with consistency.... those who have the game to succeed in international cricket. Who decides who has the potential ? The selectors are there for that very purpose. To showcase a recent example......the Australian selectors have picked Renshaw and Handscomb, both of whom averaged around 41 in their domestic cricket before test debut. I am sure there were batters with much higher averages in a country like Australia.... but their selectors picked those who they thought had the best potential to be international batsmen and both are doing fine . Not many batters with averages of 45 odd actually. Clark himself was lamenting the fact today.

The difference is the Aussies didn't go back to folks who were given chances. In India's case Aaron was given chances and proved he wasn't ready. He needs to prove he deserves a second chance and Aussies aren't as easygoing in handing out second chances either. Look at Cameron White who never got a chance despite leading batting averages the last two seasons in shorter formats.

I've never seen Cummins spraying it around the way Aaron did and if Cummins did, Aussies would've sent him back to domestic cricket.

Aaron does IF his accuracy is good....which his economy rates in recent games suggest.

Ishu cupped, bettered & massaged Dhoni's. It's ok for Dhoni fans if a captain name calls his bowler in public and PCs.

He just played VH trophy, picked 14 wickets in 7 games. He was anyway dropped for no particular reason after SA test series. Mosher 1

What chances have Aaron got, 9 ODIs, 9 tests spreading 5 years Comparison with white is sutiyapanti because he has played 88 ODIs for Aus, got enough chances. Mosher 1
