Prakash Raj shows a lot of diversity in Telugu cinema, not sure about the characters he chooses in other industries. As for Raghuvaran, in his time at least, he was the quintessential bad guy. For some roles, it was Raghuvaran or it was no one. That slurred speech, those stares etc etc

I have seen people talking in kannada in offices. Went to bank on my recent visit, a lady yelled at a North Indian UP bhaiiya, "speak in kannada or English. Nobody knows Hindi here."

Dont blame them , with NIs having an attitude that every one has to know/speak Hindi. :winky: People seem to have no issues speaking Tamil or Telugu , but not Hindi . I saw the same trend in Mumbai too .

How do u expect a punjabi or bengali to learn Kannada if he is there in bangalore on visit. Its effing bullsh1t that you expect fellow indian to speak rather English than Hindi... I might dislike fellow NIndians for being 'Over the top' n loud but one thing I m proud of them is that we r proud of being Indians n prefer speaking in Hindi with fellow Induans over our local languages like Punjabi,Haryanvi, pahadi etc etc. U telling me that South Indians cant understand Hindi n can speak only English. IMHO Nana Patekar's is in a different league altogether. This guy is probably a strictly ok comic villan. He was tolerable/ok in Singham and very below par in Dabang 2. Does he have any Ankush or Parinda or Krantiveer type performances? Why are people mentioning him being a polyglot in a thread on his acting? While thag is a good thingin itself, it doesn't add that much to his acting, especially when most of the stuff he's done in Bollywood has required him to say only 1-2 lines. His marathi in Singham wasnt that great either. "Athithi devo bhav" , "welcome to goa". Did he even get any memorable dialogue apart from these?

The onus is on him to fit in, not the other way around. Tough up on the UP guy if he is there for a visit but whatever, that's life. Try speaking Hindi in Chennai and see how far that gets you.
