Too much tape ball cricket(which was the reason given before that Pakistani produce fast bowlers) is actually one of the reasons also why Pakistna keep producing sloggers and cow lashers who throw away their wicket after looking decent to score runs. Too much tape ball cricket hitting, slogging, LAPPE BAAZI showin in tape ball tournaments signs can be seen in many youth Pakistani bats. It will click with some oppositions but not with a good decent bowling line up.

As Yoda Esque mentioned Pakistani batsmen are a bunch of brave, selfless warriors who play for the country. And at times, such selfless valour does not work out in a game that requires a few grey cells and a bit of maturity.

Every batsmen whats to hit sixes . Havent seen a pak youngster in a while who plays shots along the ground . you need to know how to drive to be a good batsmen , drive on the rise to be a great one . Salman Butt was the last I think who could drive well .

Swinging from hips = Talent. That is the problem. Maqsood for some reason is portrayed as a legend. I bet Sanju Samson is capable of producing such a knock. The way you construct an innings is the ultimate guide to how good a batsman you are. None of the Pakistan batsmen have the ability to construct an innings. Even Misba doesn't know how to pace an innings. Probably the most technically equipped among bunch of hacks. So the problem is both technical and temperamental.

Lazy, unwilling to invest time and effort to improve. Explain how hafez manages to runout at least one partner every game ? Cant they even get that right? Look at Raina he has problem with short pitch stuff , yes he is still working through it but at least you see the effort he is making. Akmal as a batsman has regressed over the years , how?

Your current generation of batsmen are brainless, gutless, & clueless of the match situation. All are sloggers with a little bit of defensive technique. Its like the entire batting line up grew up idolizing Shahid Afridi.
