Gollum Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Now Amla is the fastest, almost 15 innings less than Virat. It seems however much he tries he will always play second fiddle to the likes of Amla,ABDV,Sanga, etc.

adi B Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Now Amla is the fastest' date=' almost 15 innings less than Virat. It seems however much he tries he will always play second fiddle to the likes of Amla,ABDV,Sanga,etc.[/quote'] What? He is a much bigger match Winner than amla or sanga can ever be.abdv is the one who comes close but Kohli, abdv are head and shoulders above amla, sanga in odis.we all saw amla's legendary 97 against pak last year, couldn't even score run a ball in the end :cantstop:
putrevus Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Awesome feat by Amla but he had advantage over Kohli in a sense he started ODIs after he had established himself in tests, same case was with Sir Viv. Kohli had to find his bearing playing odis so initially like any youngster he had some growing pains that's why what he has done in ODIS is so remarkable.
Vijy Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Amla is pretty awesome, and it's sad to see him not get the recognition he deserves as an ODI bat. ABDV is better than Kohli though Kohli might catch up as he's a few yeas younger.
Number Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Already a world cup winner . These guys will always try to catch up with Kohli Kohli anyday over any ABCD or EFG. Can't even think of innings like Hobart by anyone of these.
Sooda Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Kohli anyday over any ABCD or EFG. Can't even think of innings like Hobart by anyone of these. EFG on his day is a real match winner
Number Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 EFG on his day is a real match winner Who could it be ?? :--D :hmmm:
thongale Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 uh he is, nationalities come and go. Trust me I feel the same way for shami ahmed.I don't like things which try to annull nationalities.
Old guy Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 EFG on his day is a real match winner IMO xyz has more natural flair and higher ceiling of potential ..
Austin 3:!6 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Amla Bhai is a living legend...who is Kohli yaar :-! Kohli hoga apne ghar ka kohli hoga but Amla Bhai is simply better :flute:
MCGGG Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Kohli has played the vast majority of his games on tiny grounds.
Austin 3:!6 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Kohli has played the vast majority of his games on tiny grounds. Wow
Cricket_Hacker Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Kohli has played the vast majority of his games on tiny grounds. carribean grounds are hobbit sized
MCGGG Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 carribean grounds are hobbit sized Viv played in Australia and England a lot.
thongale Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Playing red cherry is difficult than the white IMO. On the other hand Viv never played the full blown reverse swinging era as well as the best spinners of the ODI game has seen (actually four of them in Murali, Saqlain, Warne and Kumble)
Cricketics Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Lol, let's give the man, Amla, credit for what he has achieved instead of putting stats right away to put him down in front of Kohli. Brilliant Cricketer and has revived South African batting along with De Villers. Both are top bats.
