Detonator Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 what do you mean by likes of rahane and murali ? are you implying rohit is better ? Not like that.. Both struggled initially in tests and now they have improved well. I think Rohit can also improve.

Straight Drive Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 My clubmate was Rohit Sharma's coach. From the lengthy discussions we have over drinks especially about Rohit Sharma and his cricketing skills and attitude, even he seems to agree that Rohit needs to improve a lot as a test cricketer. He is highly talented is what many of us feel having seen him in nets for hours very closely than most fans who just watch on television. But in our opinion that is not enough unless other things are sorted out when we consider test match cricket.

Straight Drive Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 enough of this Net Tailunt... already 7 years gone  Yup, a lot of cricketers are talented. In fact imo every cricketer is tailented. But then as i said, talent is not enough unless it is backed up with a lot of essential skills required for test format.

ThePhenomenal1 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 can't trust rohit sharma its as simple as that. turn your tv off when he walks in cause he sucks.
nevada Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Lazy elegance minus the elegance! Who else can look lazily elegant even while getting out? :)
Pagalpanti Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Rohit Sharma is turning out to be like Jayawardene.
maniac Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 You don't expect your number 6 to score a 200 and take 5 wickets...so far he took a wicket as a 5th bowler,Took a fine catch and made 43 valuable runs and not to forget he is one of the best fielders in the side as well....A so far, hope will end up with a A+ effort.
vijay50 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Not good enough for tests. Sehwag can do what he is doing in middle order.

Cricketics Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Rohit is doing all right. Yeseterdya he looked a better bowler than than Murali Vijay. And he has has a good outing in his first ever test in Aus. Cut him some slack guys.

Cut him some slack guys. that was good outing ? even commentators who normally are not allowed to say much said its bad signs that he is playing and missing and getting beaten on this track:hysterical: he is missing straight balls just going outside off stump and yes scored some good shots but never looked comfortable and then got out to spinner for no reason
vijay50 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Tailunt will complete 10 years in international cricket by 2016.
