Not comparing h2h with philander.

Philander would be a goat bowler I'd you judge him by stats. But he is far from it. He stat pads in sena. He thoroughly sucks in Asia. One dimensional can is what he is.

On a lifeless pitch I would pick wood over a proper trundler like philtrundler.

i would agree with the same decision 10 on 10 times...mark wood would be preferred to philander at all times except for swinging conditions as probably philander can do better under swinging conditions.

Which dud cricketer did I glorify? lol
I don't even glorify guys like Umran and Prasidh, it's your job of glorifying every other 2 kaudi ka talent

2 kodi ka guys like present Kohli, who are no more than mere passenger in the side

Wood averages 40+ in England, a country suited to pace bowling, what do you make of it?

England if you know traditionally helps swing bowlers more than hit the deck bowlers

Mark Wood's role is different,he is used to break partnership s which are settled

If a swing bowlers is on song say if Anderson is on song ,no one will feel the need of operating with Wood

Same swing bowlers struggle in Aus and SC conditions

Even Bhuvi..Chahar..will make batsmen dance in swinging conditiond..outside of that they become liability when there is no movement..

Prime bhuvi was actually a quality bowler though. He is not in the same bracket as chahar. Bhuvi wrecked abd a couple of times and pommies in swing conditions.

That's right but you got to analyse performance of bowlers rationally.
Umran's eco is something which will toruble use a lot on importannt days, I only said he needs to work on that especially those wide line.

For new players, who are work in progress but have high ceilings potentially  ( applies to every such cricketer ), it is important to give them sufficient game time and let them develop. Too much analysis of performances are not needed at this stage.

Bilateral LOIs are ideal for this purpose.

We are seeing what someone like a Gill has started to do in ODIs as he plays more and more.

Arshdeep hasn't improved or perhaps has gone worse...  I think that no ball issue has shattered his confidence.

Umran isn't getting any sort of backing...  Worrying signs.  I was hoping Hardik will give him the final over to perhaps blow away lower order.

Mavi has been disappointing...  Boobie bhaiya seems to have invaded his body & he is bowling similarly.   UP pacers need to stay away from him.

Pretty sure Mavi is a waste of time. It will not get anything long term. Nothing special about it from what I see. He is not fast either.

Arshdeep is average to above average at best. We are looking for better.

Only use is for him to tell his grandkids that he played for India. I'm not even convinced he can replace a past it Umesh as the latter was genuinely express at one point.

Mavi's progression is unexplainable he was bowling 140+ and reaching 145s in his teens, but he is now 23 and hardly touching 135 kmph.

Why is he being picked??

Anyone who rates Wood over Philander in tests, is basically nothing more than a speed hound who knows nothing about actual fast bowling. No clue at all.

Philander was not a fast bowler, so, he is not even counted. talk about fast bowlers. Philander was a seam bowler, not even a swing bowler.  his style worked well for South African pitches he was born and brought up bowling on all his life.

Umesh hit 150+ at that age. That's what im talking about. Selectors see someone from the Heartland who looks athletic, can bat and bowls - used to somewhat -quick they think they've got their Umesh  replacement.

Indian commentators are taunting his extra pace every time he comes to bowl these days. Sort of reflects the mindset in the Indian dressing room too.

While you won't hear much when Arshdeep type pacers get hit.

I am getting a feeling that Umran's talent will be wasted in Team India due to poor guidance and lack of backing.

Umran gets to bowl just 1 over. Yes, he was expensive in that over but so were our other so called pacers.

Comes to bat after Arshdeep despite being a big hitter on his good days.

1 four was a genuine misfield...  Others were just good shots.

Even Ferguson got hit in his first over.l & was expensive in ODIs...  Someone tell these jokers that you gotta back your strike bowlers in T20 format.

Arshdeep getting Phainty in final over served Pandu right.

This guy Hardik has the tendency to do that. I remember that idiot even dropping Lockie from the side for a couple of expensive overs.

Also why is that clown opening the bowling attack? I mean it’s fine once in a while but every f match?? This team management continues to be extremely rigid with the bowling plans.

Absolute morons. The bowlers had no idea what length they should bowl on this pitch. Conway looked very comfortable against Umran even in the last match. Still there were no plans in place. They couldn’t even figure out whether to bowl round the wicket or over the wicket. FFS hire some international bowling coach.

Noticed that too... Everytime he comes to bowl they say batters will use his pace.

Only went after Arshdeep in the final over after no ball.

I think they lack a genuine fast bowling coach in their think tank.

Umran is very unlucky to have missed out on Arun.

Bumrah or Siraj would have been discarded as well if they played under Mhambrey'.

How they benched a red hot Siraj in T20 WC over seniors is proof of that.

I’m f sick of this toxic Indian mindset. It’s pervasive and rooted deep. Not just the coach, but commentators, selectors and even the general public (majority). Stark contrast with what you would see in literally every other nation.

Also, why aren’t we hiring any international bowling coach?? What kind of outdated thinking is this?
