His 2 wickets yesterday especially the one of bell were of brilliant deliveries. As far as today's remaining 5 go....the over he bowled to root and Ali before lunch was fantastic,especially the one he got the wicket of Ali. The wicket of Barbie was a very good delivery too,infact the short ball he bowled to him which went for 4 was even better but a great set up nonetheless. So 4/7 were clear winners. Now the remaining 3 of prior,stokes and root look like they were flukes off bad balls and piss poor shots by the batsman...it is very easy to get misguided by those wickets but the fact that he was building fantastic pressure with some pacy short pitch stuff which gave these 3 no option but to try and counter attack. All in all one of the best spells by an indian bowler in recent times. Yeah he has been frustrating at times,but the reason I rate him so highly is that he truly was unlucky in Australia and sometimes in previous English tour but he builds terrific pressure when he gets it right sometimes a lesser bowler was not able to capitalize but he was blamed Ishu all the way

When in rhythm he is the most threatening Indian bowler i have ever seen. :hatsoff:

He was m.o.s in our last overseas test win and broke the 3 year jinx today....almost did it in Nzl as well :hatsoff: Just an FYI also has a m.o.s against a strong aus team at home as well :winky:

Although I think this Indian team is not that great overseas with decent batting potential and average bowling, but they have done something even the star-studded Indian team of the 2000s could not do - a win at Lords. It is true that England are a shyt team and kept making mistakes, it still does not take away from the credit that India should be given. They kept hooking and pulling to Ishant's short stuff and he kept feeding them. Can't blame him for that.

How TF is winning at Lords more special than a level series (2002) and a series victory (2007) by the star-studded team of 2000s!
