Gambhir can make a comeback still, though unlikely he will be anywhere near what he was during that 2009-10 period. Unfortunately turned out to be a decent player with 2 years of top notch form, at that point he looked like he would go down as one of the greats.

Sehwag was one of his kind, and re-defined the test opener's role in the modern era. I don't think there is going to be another test opener like him for next few decades.

Goodbye to two of the biggest FTBs of all time. In fact, all SC batsmen are FTBs and make easy runs on dead pitches. Barring a few like Sachin, Dravid, Gavaskar most wouldnt even have a career if they played most of their cricket in Eng, SA, NZ, Aus.
