I think we are lacking just a lanky bowler. Yes, i feel bad for him like afor any person I would feel who would miss out on such big opportunity to be part of world cup, but let's be honest, he hasn't added much to our bowling and it's blessing in disguise for us that some new guy will get a chance who promises to be much better. I feel scared when Ishant gets ball in his hand and India is defening about 80 runs in 7 overs. ALl of a sudden opposition gets upper hand since he leaks runs. His best format is test cricket where he gets more and more overs to ball and different times and unfortunately, he hasn't done a decent job in that either.

mohithas his limitations but boy he gives his all especially in the field.i had already mentioned that a pace bowler has to bowl minimum 137+ to extract something out of these drop in pitches if there isnt much help in the air and my word mohit has increased his speed by 5 k. he needs to improve his stamina and bowl better in the later spells though

Ishant Sharma's injury is the final nail on coffin. Now we have a team with bowlers like bhuvi who cant swing the ball in australian conditions' date=' shami who depends on batsman to gift their wickets, and yadav who has everything but consistency and Brain. Ishant may be a pathetic bowler on our pathetic pitches, but miles better than anyone on bouncy pitches. Its not a surprise that he had the best bowling figures among all the indian bowlers who played in ODIs in south Africa. Australian pitches only give you bounce and not much side way movement. Without Ishant i don't see any of our getting that bounce. This midget indian attack will probably get smashed even by minnows and will concede 300+ runs everytime.[/quote']
