4)Nehra ,nothing special and too old

5) Jadeja for some strange reason he is   considered as all rounder, I don't even remember when last time Jadeja scored when India needed, 

 

6)Yuvi,- the less said the better

Why not give credit to NZ?

It was our collective failure against spin that contributed to the defeat. Our batsman panicked and once Kohli got out, NZ attacked even more and went for the kill. Give credit where it is due instead of merely criticizing.

Yes credit goes to NZ but when a team just cannot pass 100 in T20 then something is very wrong

If I have to pick one thing, it is the irresponsible batting of our openers. Both Dhawan and Rohit gifted their wickets. Dhawan with a hoick which only hit the pad and Rohit aimlessly coming down the track especially at that time.

Its a team built on sand:

Awful one dimensional openers

Kohli apart fragile and past it middle order

Very limited lower order hitting ability

Fake all rounders

Past it seamer

Dire bench players

 

Its a stale team overall which lacks desire. Should really have gone for a younger and hungrier squad especially as its a T20 format.

Our current team can survive on slightly turning wicket. On wickets like this we will consistently struggle apart from Kohli.   Don't think we will get many pitches like this .

huh that's because they haven't done anything special to win.. Its simple that our batting was way way way below par.. We won't feel bad if its like PAK batting because we know we got no hope on them.. This Team is way better than that now.. 41 run loss that's just pathetic

They definitely deserve the credit, because its not often that a visiting spinner to India bamboozles the home team's batsmen.

Apart from that, some of the shots at crucial junctures left a lot to be desired. So, there is some truth to the fact that Indian batsmen did not play well.

Jadeja bowling was ridiculous too vs left handers. So many wides and extras given away. I looked at his t20 record and averages 30. Thats just pathetic. Nehra 4 full tosses for every one yorker also leaked runs again.  kiwis just outplayed ashwin. Though.

If more pitches are like this then india should have definitely brought in Mishra. Very big mistake to not pick him in these conditions considering he was a major reason india made it to the finals last time.

Don't worry guys we are still winning this, such a bad performance won't happen twice, so we are only going to improve from here. VK and Taulent r enough to do it on their own just see and enjoy.

Pandey and Mishra would hv been good addition to the squad 

In hindsight, on this surface Bhajji should hv been in the 11 in place of either one of the struggling batsmen or Pandya

Partially agree. But ppl are also upset with the team they passionately follow so it is understandable if they also want to blame their players too

Everyone got to caught up in the Indian cup to lose hype. The fans and maybe even the team needed a reality check.

126 was never going to be chased on this pitch. Batsmen struggled to put bat to ball against spin. Pitch progressively worsened.

Our front line spinners 8 overs 58 runs, NZ 11 overs 44 runs 9 wickets. Yes, NZ got the benefit of winning the toss and batting first as it got progressively worse. Such pitches are lottery and can make ordinary bowlers look great. Scoring 6 runs an over becomes a monumental task when you are finding it tough to put bat to ball.

Yes congrats to NZ but as I said earlier there is no excuse for any team that gets out below 100 in T20.Decent batsmen everywhere can rotate strike and take score to 100 plus
