Misbah-ul-Haq becomes most successful Asian Test Captain...

10 Series wins for Misbah-ul-Haq as captain in Tests - most by an Asian captain. He went past Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni, who registered nine series wins. For Pakistan, Javed Miandad won eight series'.

Don't most Pak fans hate Misbah for being too "defensive"?  He's very un-Pakistani in one regard - is a classy guy.

I dont like how success is measured in subcontinent. After a certain cut off series, success should be measured in terms of proportions. If X captained in 15 series and won 10, while Y captained in 12 series and won 9, Y is more successful because he won 75% of the series vs X's 66%. Also the quality of opponents counts 

 

Say min 10 seried as captain as cutoff, success = best win to series numbers
