Indian womens team forfeit their ICC championship match against Pakistan..concede all six points. Now they have to play qualifiers instead to qualify for the ICC world cup.

"India's women's cricket team have officially forfeited their ICC Womens Championship matches against Pakistan, to remain in fifth place in the points table. India needed two wins from three matches to secure India needed two wins f their 2019 World Cup participation but will now have to play qualifiers in February. ICC announced the six points from three matches will be awarded to Pakistan."

Saddened to hear that these two teams could not properly face each other due to a dirt bag politician who has found his way in charge of the BCCI.

I guess they had to do that because else it would be difficult to justify the Pak tour boycott.  Unfortunate.  

 

To be clear, I don't like this move, but fully support the Pak tour position by BCCI.  Even though as a fan, its a big loss of quality cricket.

Right decision but didn't we just play a hockey finals against them...now I will take it because end result we won  

 

but we need to implement this in every aspect

Playing hockey doesn't translate to gifting Pakistan $50 million, like a tour would.  If Pakistanis want "normal" relations with India, they need to get their "deep state" to stop their undeclared war against India.  Simple.

Say whatever about not playing against them because it is not right currently etc, honestly it will never be right to play. And  even when we played in the past, it was never right to play yet we played and yet featured against them in other events like Hockey etc.

 

I don't like giving them these free wins like their women team got. 

 

Yes, playing right away after attacks wasn't good as those were sensitive times, but now since it has been a while to those events, they can play for future series.

I want to see what ICC will do if BCCI says we will not play the champions Trophy if we are made to play Pakistan in such artificially manufactured group matches.

How was the last Champions trophy India Pak game in England for you?  Poor Ramiz and Waseem were crying into their beers bemoaning the fact that even before the game started they knew their team had no chance.
