express bowling Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Anderson's comments have done a lot of good. Now, Kohli will go all out and improve his game against swing bowling. He has been very good against pace and bounce for most part of his test career and has been good against seam bowling too. This series, we are seeing him play spin much better. His new batting technique is anyway much more suited to playing swing but playing county will improve him further. Only worry is...will IPL and a packed international calendar allow him a month's gap ? Soorma_Bhopali and Mosher 2

I see him hinting county teams that he is available and whoever gives him chance, he will take it and at the same time he is hinting BCCI that he wants to play so please do not come in between, if I get any offer to play in UK. Of course for player of his stature, it is easy to create a space in the team for any county. But you still got to hint the counties since you are working under BCCI who are usually not that supportive of their players playing overseas. beetle 1

There is nothing like giving him chance by any county team. Any county team will love to have him any day of the week. By chance I meant, he will himself have to make that chance to play for county cricket due to congested calendar. Chance won't come to him. He himself will have to make sure that he plays and not leave it to just chance.

County stints at some point in their careers have helped most past players. Don't think missing the IPL will be possible for such a big star. BCCI won't allow.
