interesting, lateral movement troubles India more.

Three of your quicks - Ishant, Yadav and Shami - are good at pace and bounce. BK likes the swinging/seaming surfaces.

Reguarding your batsmen they have had plenty of trips outside India to get accustomed to bounce.

For all the chest-thumping..India has just won 1 match more than Pak in Aus (4 to Pak, 5 to India). We have more drawn matches..

Exactly the reason for chest thumping, test cricket has 3 results, draws do matter, sadly for padosis they can't even draw a match to save their lives:giggle:

Actually, the correct reasoning is when there is lateral movement the Pakistani bowlers are very good and can bowl the opposition out cheaply. This way, the batsmen when they click together may sneak in a victory for the team.

In case of India, batsmen are troubled by the lateral movement more and the record in not that great. It is alright in Australia where pace and bounce are the only issues. I mean, Indian batsmen are good there and even if their bowlers are so-so, they might sneak in a victory or two like Adelaide 03 and Perth 08.

Puts the 2007 Eng win in perspective, real good one that.

I dont think anyone would chest thump about India's performance in Aus lol, just that padosis are poorer brings in the lols.

Is there any cricket ground in Gilgit Baltistan area ? or NWFP. Could be a bouncy strip for Pakistan.

Sialkot used to be a pacer friendly pitch.  I think lack of $$$ has had a real impact on facilities in Pakistan.  No home series with anyone, no India tour - that translates to a 70% reduction in $$$ at a minimum.  Plus the board officials will mooch off a big chunk, so not much left for the actual cricket.

Pak as expected is giving up a bunch of wickets to spin.  Outside of Younis, they are not that good against quality spin.  2nd Innings will be more of the same.

No Contempt here. But why is Pakistan so poor in Australia ?

That is what happens one of the most mentally fragile side faces the mentally strongest side in their own den. Australia can always come back. Remember Gilchrist/Langer partnership to register an improbable win and one test where they dropped Hussey and ended up losing the test.

This one actually was the funniest of all on their last tour. They were chasing 170 only and had a big mental collapse to Nathan Hauritz. Lost by 36 runs to lose the sydney test.

Yea that is the match lol  Hussey was dropped and they added some runs in a hopeless situation which proved to be enough for winning the test.

4 consecutive whitewashes should also be some sort of a record?

Has to be. I mean visiting records usually really suck but this one is on par. Even Lanka is sometimes able to draw a game, so losing 4 series in a row in last 20+ years by same 3-0 is really a massively bad run.

I think, and I won't be surprised after Chappel's comment that CA might actually ask PCB for future tours to be of only 2 test games.
