Thampi looks a very good prospect. Has a bit of slingy action with excellent inswinging yorkers and very accurate short ball plus has a very deceptive slower one. Looking forward to someone picking him in this IPL.

 

Was this posted here though. There is a reason why speed guns in India show slower pace compared to Australia. At any international game in India there are 3 speed guns and we choose the middle reading instead of the highest one. Australia always chooses highest reading that's why speed guns show higher reading in Australia. This was explained by Manjrekar in Ind vs Ban test match

Yeah bro cant wait to see him in this year's IPL. We need to do our part in hyping up these slow bowlers. How will young kids be inspired to jog in and roll their arm over? Bowling at 115K in the blazing sun is tough work. They need all the support they can get. Even legends like Joginder Sharma never got their due.
