BeautifulGame Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Think anything over a lead of 250 , we should be favorites. Obviously long way to go , but not sure we can be confident with anything less than 250. Need a couple of big partnerships .Time is no issue so need to be over aggressive either.

sensible-indian Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 200 will be tough for Aussies cos pressure component will be there. Jaddu will be our main strike weapon while Ashwin can block an end up. 250 would be nice though. But the way Lyon is bowling, tough to predict how much we can score.

sensible-indian Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Every batsman has to scrap and play out of their skin. We should look at target as 30 run blocks. Next target is to wipe off the deficit fully. Then to get a small 30 run lead. And so on. Keep chugging along and if you fight tooth and nail, you can score. When we fought tooth and nail, our tail scored runs in Lord's green track on day 1.

sensible-indian Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I think under pressure and our pacers bowling at the wickets, funny things can happen. But need 200 atleast. 150 is too risky territory.
