maniac Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I think the fact that his back up is the maverick gun slinging x factor has lit a fire under Pujara...have to give our unsung hero some credit here Laaloo and Mosher 2
kubrickian Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Pujara has played some crucial knocks for India since his debut and some of them have been under immense pressure and were match winning knocks. What is most impressive is he is mentally tough, has the ability to absorb pressure and fight for his runs (a bit like Dravid) and its something not a lot of people can have and cant be taught unlike technique. Therefore management has to invest all their resources on making him adapt to foreign conditions as he hasnt done well (other than SA) in Aus or England during the last time we toured. He has the potential to do well there and can contribute greatly to Indian team's success along with Kohli and Rahane. Laaloo and Sidhoni 2

Cricketics Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Pujara and Rahane both were class. Good that both got runs and now will only will be better for India that most players are among runs. I hope he scores a ton now next game or even go further than that. SLICKR392 1

PBN Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Fun Fact: Pujara still hovers around that average of 50 Laaloo 1
Laaloo Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 If it wasnt for his damn knees, he would score a lot more. He cant take quick singles or twos sometimes.
Lord Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 4 hours ago, Gollum said: Pujara was terribly mishandled by the team management under 'Dhoni the Terrible' plus his dodgy knee. The way he started out I genuinely thought he was going to end up as an ATG. Recently watched the highlights of the 2012 England series and must say no current Indian batsman has the ability to do what he did back then. Hope he continues his stellar show and corrects his records in England and Australia. In Asian pitches he is top 5 in the world. ?? If anything he was backed despite failures under Dhoni Kohli replaced him with Rohit in his first test as full captain Laaloo, zakk, Shunya and 1 other 4

Ashwin was awarded Jana Bankable player of the match While MOM was KL Rahul .I think player of the match is second MOM award. It should have been given to Pujara
