You can't contribute without funds and cricket grounds. They are part of India too. Mumbai cricket is well established don't think this should affect them.

Mumbai is still part of Maharashtra anyway.

Yes but it's about talent. If Mumbai, Maharashtra and Vidarbha are merged, we will lose huge number of talent. You can only have 11 players. So many players will lose their places.

Their clubs aren't merged just their voting rights and funding now will be equally distributed.

Am a supporter of lodha committee recommendations except a few ones. But removing funds for Mumbai cricket association cannot be justified as they are the biggest contributer to Indian cricket.

No one is removing funds from Mumbai.They are still an associate member ,will have rotating voting rights with Maharashtra and recieve funds.

Associate members receive far less funds than full members.

 

Pray tell me how any of the north eastern states deserve more funds than Mumbai?

Yes teams will remain the same and most likely more teams added into Ranji trophy soon.

 

 

What is changed is voting rights .
