Austin 3:!6
Is it only me or it is no longer the league that it once used to be? Back in DLF IPL days (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) all the matches were highly anticipated, massive fan following, much more emotions attached to it. I somehow do not feel the same excitement with the IPL anymore. Boring matches, poor commentary, avg cricketers. The entire product seem to have a downfall. Only on free time if I have nothing to do, I catch little bit of IPL these days. So why you think IPL is losing its charm? Is it an oversold product already? Ultimate_Game
To me it's still the same. I have always followed IPL to track Indian youngsters and upcoming players. Still do the same so no change yet. Was never a fan of a particular team and follow players. I might follow DD one day when Pant is batting but follow Punjab the next day coz Sandeep is bowling. zen
Reduce the teams to 6 .... which means we have 42 top Ind talent on display .... Earlier how international players and Ind stars performed used to be the draw. Now it is how the youngsters perform so may be time to give them enough space / platform to perform Edited April 10, 2017 by zen

New guy
Lol, every year after the first few matches we have people saying this. Then in the middle the matches get interesting, the point table starts mattering and we have some really, really close matches with people following passionately.
