It was earlier scheduled that India will play 4 test Matches
Now it is converted to 3 but India will play an extra odi making

the odi series of 6 matches..

Meanwhile Saf inviting Zimbabwe to play boxing day day night test match

Only if ICC Approves, you must post link with your thoughts mister.

Proteas request 4 day ( day-night) test, instead 5 day test.

If India really wanted to play more practice matches, they could have sent these guys to play beforehand. They aren't first choice in ODI playing XI. I am sure they can ask local guys to field to make 11 players.

South Africa just being greedy and picking more ODIs instead of tests .

Initially suggested to be 4 tests 3 ODIs and 3 T20s.

But SA wanted more ODIs to capitalise on Indian market ,hence decided to cut one test short and play 6 ODIs .

All this fault mainly stemmed from them announcing the Australian tour schedule (that it will start on March 1) before negotiating with BCCI on India schedule and arrogantly assuming we would tour for Boxing day test forgoing our home season.

Among all things written here, no one has even given a look at the original FTP (link below) drafted in 2014 and supposed to last till 2019 .. This FTP says that SRL was supposed to tour SAF first and play the boxing day and new year test and India was only supposed to tour SAF in the 2nd week of JAN after playing PAK at home ... India basically just replaced the PAK series with SRL whom the selfish and greedy SAF rejected. However, Mr. Lorgat and CSA never took approval of BCCI to prepone the tour and announced the schedule which was rejected by BCCI and very rightly so.
