Frequent bad fielding must be held accountable

Iyer, Jadhav have made into a habit. Dropping catches, Misfielding.  Heck i would have even had Nagarkoti just for his fielding over this hack Iyer. Look how under-19 fielded. These guys are perennial bad fielder. Raina, Jadeja are electric on the field. They create panic just with their fielding. These guys are simply ruining the morale of the team. Our own Kaptaan is culprit of this few times. Do they have Karthik in the line up? Atleast use him as a fielder. They should drop these guys just for fielding.

Karthik takes blinders. He doesn't drop on the field. ONly as a keeper he misses some chances. Pandey is a good fielder too. He should be there ahead of this joke called Iyer.

First it was Kedar who dropped catches and now there is Shreyas who cost us this match. And these are young fielders, supposed to be quick and good in field.

 

Kedar has good AVG and SR but he needs to be dropped for poor fielding. Shreyas too should be made accountable for rubbish fielding.

Yes Manish is one of the best  fielders in our country. He should be preferred over these two lazy boys.

ye le bhai pichle saal ka hi example 

I hve seen him drop more then a few as fielder

Add hitting stumps to the list. When was the last time so called super fit fielders hit the stumps?

 

Captain himself is an average fielder, setting a low benchmark for other fielders.

A truly professional outfit would have ensured that this is the first order of business after the CT final loss. Dunno maybe, sometimes, a headmaster is the need of the hour! ;)

 

Hurts because we seem to have almost all the personnel now to be truly great squad, but the management seems to be struggling with, incapable getting best out of them.

Captain drops catches , but he covers up by hundreds in ODI and 200 in tests.

 

What is this so called youngster doing. Scores 18 and allowed Miller to score 33. Contribution in negative. Apart from that lost match.

In football and Soccer, we see players getting dropped/benched by coaches for making such technical errors. We have let it go on for far long almost to the level of taking it granted. Kohli himself need to get flak for dropping catches. 

I am still speechless about no balls. I mean its just unbelievable how many times it has happened with us.

Don't see these guys winning WC with this fielding. Very poor. Ruined the culture Dhoni set for years to win with respect to fielding . Dhoni  will never take poor fielders in the team. We are regressing badly in fielding

Spinner bowling no balls is just not on. Lost too many knock out matches and still the same error keeps up popping

Are you going by seeing Iyer’s fielding today or have you seen him field really badly all the time?

 

Iyer was excellent in IPL when fielding so surely he can’t regress as a fielder in international cricket so fast. He probabaly had a bad day in the field today.

 

He isn’t a bad fielder. Jadhav is, not Iyer.

Bad fielding has to be penalized. Baseball does it by taking errors into account. Cricket needs to do it too.
