Real McCoy
WI in serious contention for this WC. They have big hitters from 1 to 11. Bowling not too bad either. They will make some serious damage Link to comment

Stan AF
I'd have picked Pollard over Brathwaite though. sriniwu 1 Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
Can he even last 50 overs? Looks to be in poor physical shape. Link to comment
The Hound
I still dont think he'll eventually play, has difficulty in lasting a 40 over game Link to comment
vvvslaxman
He is good for T20. In a 50 over game dynamics change. You have more overs for better bowlers. Link to comment
WC2011INDIA
Ask him to bowl 3-4 overs if needed. Edited April 26, 2019 by WC2011INDIA Link to comment

vvvslaxman
We gotta remember West Indies is not a country. it is a collection of countries. Unity is always going to be doubtful. Link to comment

These guys are naturally ripped, don't think he is juicing. But back on topic - if Gayle, Russell and the other big hitters go bang bang in T20 mode, they could be all out by 40 overs but score 380-400! Who needs 50 overs when you can wrap it up in 40? Juice does not make muscles. Pumping iron does. You don't need juice for these muscles he has. Link to comment

Fielding for 50 overs, bowling 5-6 overs and batting for more than 35-40 balls - those will test fitness of Russel. As of now he does not look like he can last even 25 overs on the field. Substitute as a fielder will not be as easy as it is in IPL. nevada 1 Link to comment

Which they almost did against England in an odi this year. Chasing 418 something they could have easily got it. At one point Windies were 284/2 in 29 overs Link to comment
