Bumrah is not a test material so n its going to be a lot of tets cricket from now , he can play there after tht he can have long rest.

They dont. If they knew this Bhuvi would be selected. Its MANDATORY to select bhuvi if the ball swings, Only seen jimmy bowl better than him in swinging conditions.

This is the worst Indian team selected in a long time.  The selectors have shown complete lack of objectivity and forward thinking.  When a team full of youngsters is chosen then the objective should be to choose those players who have the potential to represent India in the near future. It should be a player development process, 

 

Who are the players whom we want to develop  and have international cricket potential  ?

 

Rahul, Pant, Pandey, Nair, Sarfraz,  Samson, Krunal, Hardik, Nathu, Rajpoot, Chahal, Bista etc.

 

Bumrah deserves rest after such a hectic season.

 

Shami is coming back from injury and should have been given match practice.

 

Is Fazal getting picked  got anything to do with him being from Vidarbha   ?  His List  A  SR is pathetic.

 

Rayudu, Rishi, Kulkarni and Unadkat getting picked is a joke.

 

Rahul, Nair and Pandey pick themselves...the only good pick by the selectors is Chahal.

Someone like a Jai Bista is a much bigger talent than Fazal. He is just 20...opens the innings, is a proper batsman and plays very fast.

If you were picking the worst 11 of the IPL a number of these players would probably be up for selection and as an added bonus the team will be led by the captain who lost the most games (Vijay lost fewer after taking over at Punjab)

No sane captain would want to lead these clowns, its obvious why they are stuck with Dhoni. I am sure they will return this favour by a series loss to Zimbabwe.

The batting lineup is very good except i don't see the point in selection of faiz...he looked a decent ranji or ipl player but not exceptional enough to be international . mayank should have been in his place but his form has not been encouraging recently..

 

uthappa shud be cursing the selectors now

 

rayudu got a rough deal because of stupid obsession with allrounders..he will face the task of holding the batting together along with dhoni...

 

vijay or uthappa would have helped them...but its good to see mandeep has been selected along with rahul and manish..there is no point giving chances to  u-25 guys now...its a waste of time more often than not
