I am sorry mate but this is atrocious ridiculous logic. After 300, Nair went to domestics and failed for 5 innings straight. 5 innings.

Sidhoni Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) He won't play in a 5 batsman + Ashwin/Pandya setup overseas anyway. Edited March 26, 2017 by Sidhoni OpeningBatsman 1

helperononline Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 He played one good knock on the flattest track and everyone made him hero too soon schumibest and sandeep 2
kubrickian Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Because of that 300, he still averages 74 in tests despite 6 failures in 7 innings. He will most likely get another chance in 2nd innings. If he doesnt score, he will probably be back to FC.
Texan Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Should have picked Iyer in his place for this Test. schumibest 1
WeStMiDz Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Good player, needs time to understand his game at the international level.
jusarrived Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Can't drop a batsmen based on few failures . He's proven in domestic and now that he's been picked him , at least give him a run of 8 to 10 test matches before you drop him . Hes definitely not as bad as his last few innings from what I have seen .
gattaca Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Ever heard of sharmas ? How long o a rope they got ? Come on guys we are still trying to build a team give him a chance.

Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) Few innings and people have lost it What bradman they have on bench, or did they expected someone to come n start scoring every 2nd inning if so thats ur problem Vijay n rahane havent become consistent till date why go after someone new Drop him and bring whom Rohit sharma who fails 10 10 innings Shreyas iyer what if he also fails few innings, becoz thats what we do we hype and its takes only few innings before we declare someone case hopeless The expectation here i see with youngsters are bizzare ...........1st with hardik , jayant and now Nair. U wnt get ready made consistent players that easy. People were having a go at rahul for the same before this series, how will u prepare players if u dnt allow them to fail Edited March 26, 2017 by Ankit_sharma03 schumibest and sam 25 1 1
Gollum Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 LOL but guy should be in the reckoning for home tests like Che. Clearly not in contention elsewhere, in white ball cricket even Rahul can't get a game.
Straight Drive Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Time to drop him. Waste batsman this IPL. Scored 2 tons in SMA, didn't he ? SandeepMotta 1
sensible-indian Posted May 14, 2018 Author Posted May 14, 2018 He will be inconsistent even in home tests.
