Shadab Khan

Looks a decent find for greenbros.  handy leggie, decent googly.   By their standards, he's an amazing fielder.  Can hold the bat too.  There is absolutely no reason why any other spinner should play in their LOI team ahead of him.   Especially this useless Imad gareebon ka Jadeja Wasim.

Not even gareebon ka jadeja, he looks like garibon ka krunal pandya

His bowling is quite similar to krunal

Pak putting him in Test this early was not a good decision especially considering he got no FC experience either... But yes, more than decent prospect for LOIs, decent bat too...

Imad Wasim prances around like he's hot $hit.  Problem is that he's just mostly $hit.   He's like those mis-spelled knock off fashion brands - Kelvin Cline.   Hafeez and Imad are dead weight on this team.  Any half-decent batsman is an upgrade from Hafeez - who only scores runs against poor bowlers, he couldn't even handle Pandya's pace.

Besides Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan was the only Pakistan bowler who could claim a passing grade from their game against India. The 18-year-old legspinner held his own against a daunting Indian batting line-up, ensuring the batsmen couldn't target him in a tournament where spin bowlers' chances haven't been fancied. Fifty-two runs came off his ten overs, and he even provided the opening breakthrough, deceiving Shikhar Dhawan in the air.

24.3

Shadab Khan to Dhawan, OUT, Hits it straight down the throat of deep midwicket. Pakistan, finally, break the rousing opening stand. This seemed to have slipped out of his hand, Dhawan races down the track, takes a full-toss and mows it straight to Azhar Ali in the deep

The ball slipped but this guy Danyal Rasool thinks Shadab deceived him in the air. :rotfl:

That ball should've been put away for a 6 or at least for a 4 but Dhawan picked out the only fielder on the leg side. There was no "deceiving" and was more a blunder on Dhawan's part.

Don't know how he will turn out in future as that depends a lot on how PCB handle him but he is a really good bowler for his age.

India played him well and even though he gave away 52 runs, he bowled really well.

His average for the game would be 50+ since he got just one wicket but it is all about economy rate these days. Yes it is good to have bowlers who take wickets, but if someone would have supported Shadab today from the other end, India perhaps would have scored less.

Shadab bowled really well even after getting attacked by our set bats. He changed it up well and hence deserves the credit. This is the time when one shouldn't just go by bowling figures bur actually rate him on how he bowled, amd he did bowl well.
