This shows One victory doesn't mask all the whining that happens here!!!

So thrashing pak and almost all of  a sudden a few were in your face Dhoni rocks....Pandya is greater than Stokes(This one's harsh but give him some time to evolve.i think among the dark clouds this is a bright sign)...Yuvraj 2005 reloaded etc etc .

No if we have to move ahead with times we need to take harsh desicions. Slog and middle overs cost us this game and are to be blamed more than the bowling which was pretty average but can be overlooked on this pitch.

The fielding has been pathetic...Jadhav yes good LOI bat but doesn't look like an international player while fielding.

So many issues to fix...we whine because we love Indian cricket and there is some dead wood holding us down

By that logic, one loss doesnt make everything bad either.

We have been pathetic for a while in LOIs, haven't evolved at all. Especially in the batting department.

drop Kohli

Am I taking only 2 games into account? We have been saying the LOI teams need a total revamp for a while. This is not a case by case emotional thread

We should be aiming for much bigger totals. Probably over confidence played its part in batsmen assuming a smaller score will be enough.

Dhoni is not the biggest culprit here but he got 65 of 53 I think which is not a bad score by any means where as Jos Butler got a similar score may be with a slightly better s/r the other day when wickets were falling around him.

I am not comparing MSD and Jos ...just saying modern day approach has changed.

Dhoni Dhawan and Yuvi were called out before the tourney

all did well in atleast one game .Dhoni and Yuvi did well vs England too

if we cant celebrate one victory, why cry over one loss?

Dhawan I agree has turned it around.

the complaint on Yuvi before the tournament has been that he is hit or miss in recent times and cannot be trusted and 1 great game followed by 1 very poor game shows what the original complaint was.rather have a youngster be hit or miss or even miss than a 17 year veteran in his last phase of his career.

Dhoni well I will give him marginal benefit of the doubt here but this wasn't an outstanding innings by any means based on the platform we have had.no one said Dhoni fails often,it was his scoring rate that was a problem and this was again a middle of the road performance

What part do you disagree with? Was this a great innings by Dhoni? To set the record straight he exceeded my expectations so I will say this was not a poor innings but a very average one.

It was a ATG innings. My pom poms are on the way. Shame people have low expectations these days
