Jadeja was ball watching. He wasn't watching his partner. Should he have sacrificed ? YES but really he was ball watching and never saw Pandya running to the other end. He instinctively returned back to his crease. when he saw the fielder gather the ball

Boss  Please watch the last few seconds again.

Pandya almost near the crease and has slowed down. Both are at Jadeja's end and both look at each other.

Pandya makes the move to put his bat in to the crease . Jadeja has his bat out of the crease  but seeing Pandya's move quickly brings his bat     down into crease before Pandya could do

Hardik Pandya spoke to CricTracker.com and revealed that it was a fake photoshopped tweet. Basically, that Twitter user had used F12 i.e. a key which can be used to fetch developer tool in Google Chrome bar, which allows to edit the tweet and he used it to promote a fake tweet, which was later picked by many cricket website including us.

this pillock's antics resulted in us exiting the Wt20 in 2009 in the super 8s stage.. and he's got a long rope for 8 years just on the basis of his fielding and ok bowling on indian rank turners... shabash BCCI

I don't blame him for 2009 - that was on Dhoni for promoting up the order while in-prime Yuvi and Yusuf cooled their heels in the "dugout".

Jadeja is a foot-soldier and an extremely limited batsman -its up to the team how he gets utilized.  Stupid runout is on him though.
