Rohit can't be an alternative. Even Bhajji won a trophy with MI. They have like the strongest think tank ever. 

 

The real problem though is he is not assured a spot in the 11 all the time. Has many off/on phases, goes missing in pressure situations or against good bowling.

 

Kohli will be and should be captain till 2019 WC at least.

I will give him time. He is playing one youngster and one player who was toiling hard in domestc like Jadhav, so matter of time he starts giving chances to Pant too and show nterest in another youngsters too.

 

 

We are all disappointed that he hasn't picked Pant yet but that doesn't mean he should give up captaincy.  He is a brilliant test captain and needs to be given time in ODI's also and he will do well.
