This knuckle ball is clearly not working for some of our bowlers in the death like it is working for Bhuvi.  May be they don't mix it well , don't hit the right length. Thakur got it horribly wrong.  Shankar has trouble bowling to his field.  Thakur is always kind of a bowler who gets carted around from time to time with unimaginative bowling.

it was his 1st hit of the tournament,.give him a break,he is clearly not a 4 overs bowler , he is a proper bat will prosper in IPL for sure if  given chances

You got all that from one inning with bat first one ever in international level that too a tournament final. His bowling was on and off through the series not the worst.  He probably is not a t20 bat though

The last ball shankar faced india needing 5 was after he hit a four. He tried clearing the field and was caught near the ropes. If he attained a bit more distance and bit less height it would have been the 6 that won the game will folks be calling him a find ? Lol be chilled about this you can not judge a player by one inning.

give him a break guys, even pandya was bowling trash when he started his international career. He will improve. better batsman though not a hitter.

If he is so bad under pressure that he forgets how to bat when he is little under the pump how will he handle the pressure of playing big tournament knock outs against big teams or our arch rivals.

You can improve your skills become better puller of the ball, improve seam position, become better fielder but how your brain responds to pressure situations can't be changed. 

A pressure situation becomes an opportunity to become a hero, if your fear of becoming a villain overshadows that then you will most probably become a villain.

I doubt he will be able to put the outing yesterday behind. It will keep haunting him forever and when he gets into the middle in such situation again he will most probably again bottle it.

He is not Rishi Dhawan type of cricketer. He is more a specialist batsman as you can see from his shots. He is just not a slogger.

I get the feeling that lot of people here didn't played game at any professional level. For him, this is the pressure match and never batted in international level and these are final over.
