Its is well known fact that Smith is way ahead of Kohli as a test batsman, but just to put things in perspective, this Australian team alone won't do much against South Africa even if Smith scorers single handedly.

Don't think Australia plays against Australia

The average of 10 against top 6 teams is flawed because he played only 3 tests against Australia earlier this year before getting injured and that was his only poor series...in 2016 he did well against England,Nzl and South Africa at home.

Smith has done better than Kohli in England...however Smith used to be a bowler than and Hitman has more wickets than Smith in England :giggle:

Smith scored a double century on a flat track(in England). But Smith is easily the best test batsman (overall and away) out of fab4. But Steyn, Vern, Rabada, Morkel will own Smith in the upcoming series. ABDV is easily the best player in all conditions in all formats.

I never feel confident when he walks in against a hostile attack in tough conditions nor do I feel he is a clutch player.

I may be wrong but I always feel runs and avg in his case are totally misleading. He isn't as great as his records looks like.

For what ??? Just because Kohli was bad in a single test ??

Comparing these 2 is like comparing an auto-rickshaw with a Hummer.

easy to create  blind emotional statements. Sooo difficult to justify claims with logic
