That’s PR. When you talk about his own team, he doesn’t play shami as much as he can. Khaleel has been in the team for a Simple fact that he is a left armer.

What happened to the pace, he is bowling 135-140, barely touching 140, what’s the view of the speed experts here ?

Like I said, the phase where he bowled consistently above 145 kph was an aberration (perhaps he was in the rhythm of his life?). I expect him to bowl at ~140 kph average most of his career. He has lots of other attributes that can make him a successful Test & LOI bowler. 

 

Just that we should stop expecting him to breach 150 kph every game he plays!

Pacewise,  would out the current bunch of Saini, Avesh and Prasidh below even Aaron and Umesh (Among the consistently quick bowlers we've had in our history).

 

Mavi & Nagrkoti are my hopes for genuine speed merchants.

skilled 140+k bowlers are much preferred over crooked canons like aaron.

i would rate warrier,mavi,avesh and even prasidh over him.

His saving grace is that he is a left hander,i don't see whats special about him other than the initial hype ,which was mostly because he was quick back then.
