maniac Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 This is not to swim against the tide and say the opposite...as you folks know I have been a bit negative about the tour since day 1....however a little cricketing instinct 101 kicks in when I get a tingle somewhere which enables such predictions. You guys know what,we may still be able to pull this off. We have our best test batsman and we have a miracle man at the crease who can make it rain...so never say never. beetle and Nonbeliever 1 1
Nonbeliever Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Only Honeymooners will have good feelings since they will have 2 extra days to enjoy. Forever Indian, Rasgulla, SK_IH and 4 others 7

wanted_desi Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Is he ready to play fearless cricket? Is he ready to flash and flash hard? Can he take aerial route to Steyn and co?

Tridibans_16 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 (edited) If India can see off the 1st session tomorrow at 100-4 (or 5 provided Pujara is on crease), we will surely reach SA total with contributions form Ashwin/Saha/Bhuvi. From there on, it all depends if our bowlers can get SA all out again below 250 max (target max. 300). Day 4 and 5 will ease out for batting. If we get bundled out for 120-150, we are losing this by more than 150 runs. Edited January 5, 2018 by Tridibans_16
beetle Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I have a feeling the bottom three will make more runs than the top three who got out .
velu Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 i have only one feeling now and alexandra daddario is the resaon for that feeling
Laaloo Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I'm hoping to see some maximums when pandya faces maharaj
Tridibans_16 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Rohit doesn't have the technique to survive on this pitch. Its better for him to be positive and get going. If he gets 30 odd, I back him to blast his way to a century. But I am afraid, he may get out to Philander/ Steyn defending outside off
vvvslaxman Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 you mean. it won't be an innings defeat? lol that is the only good feeling i have about this. I am not sure our players are mentally tough to weather the 4 pronged paced attack of SA for long periods.
Tridibans_16 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Actually, thinking about it, we let SA score 100 runs too many. After having them 12/3 and 140/5, we should have had them all out before 200. It will come to bite us if we concede a big 1st inns. lead. beetle 1
