Khota Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Bill Bellichik Shastri needs to make an effort to develop the bench and he needs to figure a way to get these players in rotation. In the long run this bench strength will determine how good India is and I feel all these players if given an opportunity will excel. As a minimum they deserve and should get three games out o six. This is the best way to encourage these players and they will feel like part of the team. This will encourage competiion for all the slots. Both Kohli and Dhoni need to be rested. But knowing Bill Shastri the only bench strength he has developed is sitting on the bench and drinking. Lannister and saik 2

We shud move to krunal n sundar soon . Dinesh shud be given a farewell from dressing room Iyer n pandey i agree Kohli shudnt rest, he is the captain and Sa is a tough team. If ever he shud be rested its against poor teams Dhoni is going play 2019 and at his age its very important to keep playing n improving SecondSlip and velu 2

Dinesh I feel will outperform Dhoni. Kohli will have a burn out before you know it. Dhoni is a place holder only. If these players are selected they should play else select someone different.

Developing bench strength is very important. SA is not strong to begin with and Cricket is not a popular sport in SA. sandeep 1

They need to be tested and I can assure you with phasing one by one there would be no drop off. Going by your logic we would still have Ashwin, Jaddu and ishant bowling. Tese players need a clear path forward.

Dinesh in 2017 is a much improved player. Are you assuming that players dont improve over a period of time?
