Singer Papon accused of sexually molesting minor girl; SC lawyer files complaint

A Supreme Court lawyer has filed a complaint against singer Papon with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (POSCO) for allegedly kissing a minor girl on his reality show, 'Voice Of India Kids'. 

The video which has gone viral was first seen by the lawyer on the singer's Facebook timeline. 

The singer is seen celebrating Holi with the contestants. The video also shows him applying colour to a minor girl before he allegedly kisses her forcibly.

The question is who filed the complaint? Did the girl file the complaint or was it someone else?

 

Let's hope India does not get infected with political correctness unlike the western world where you have to be very mindful of what you do.

The guy is way out of line . He had no business doing that.

He is the mentor on a show and in a position of power. That itself is wrong. The girl is a minor.He kissed her without consent .Is she in a position to refuse when her own father approves of the behavior?

 

The father of the girl has supported the singer saying it was not wrong. Parents have been known to exploit their children for future success. These reality shows are also a kind of exploitation .

 

Parents have been naive enough  to take their daughters to those beastly babas to serve them only for them to turned into sex slaves.

At first glance, it seems like a harmless peck, like he was intending to kiss her cheek, and the girl kissed him back, looking at how casual she was, it seems like it was not the first time this has happened. Horrifying! He realizes and the first thing is to ask if he is being recorded. Drunk or not, only drunkards like me knows, totally toshed. It is the moment when the second or third drink starts to kick in and you start to lose semblance of your surroundings.  He has to take blame and zip it and not try to spin it further as the evidence is jarring and embarrassing. 

 

Mostly to blame are the parents, guardians or chaperones who have left these kids on their own , with 20 something strangers. The kids probably from smsll towns, are very impressionable and can be easily preyed upon. Any sane parent would have noticed him and asked him to behave and not be touching or smothering them, it is cringy.  The whole reality shows with kids is a sham and needs to be regulated.

Honestly looks like a harmless peck on the cheek,  the video was uploaded on his FB wall. Grabbing the attention of unwanted Feminist Brigade, this is a clear attempt of defaming Papon to ruin his career. I don't think even in his wildest dreams, he would have imagined that it would be looked at from a completely different angle.

 

Feel for this guy, lost his Job as a Judge from the show, will have to live with a Tag of a Child Molester. Guy has an incredible voice and truly one of the best singers going around in the country.

 

Also needs to be looked at from cultural point of view, We Indians kiss children when we feel loved. This entire looking at a kiss from the different angle has been adapted from west.

 

Papon is officially and unfortunately the first one to fall in that pit.

It is not a harmless peck .

Since when do we Indians kiss on the mouth socially . 

 

She is not a kid ,we Indians learn the difference between a small child and a growing girl .

 

We Indians do have problem of not considering  small children as full humans who need space . 

 

We let any tom dick and harry ruffle a child's head,pull someone else's child's cheeks or ask or give kiss to other people's children and the kids have no say . Like they don't get to decide .

 

I used to want to kick people on their shin when they used to ruffle my hair or pull my cheeks .

 

May be this incidence will change this. People need to learn that little humans should have a choice whether they want to be touched by people .

It does not look like a harmless peck and it looks like they are very familiar with each other.He is first touching her lips and they both kiss.!

does not look harmless. The guy looks powerful among the group as if he can do as he wants, first up he touches the kids face he could have left at that, and a loving peck is usually at the top of the head not after holding her face like that. 

I see this increasing trend there are lots of angry short tempered skilled artist types who are 'master', super skilled 'teacher' has licence to be rude as its usual for 'great artists' to be like that etc.  would be good to make an example out of this papon or whatever guy. if he thinks he is gabbar may be someone should show him how it feels to be under the boots.
