What is working for Kuldeep?

GUyz...

He is getting wickets in bundles..may it be against Australia in India, or Against SA in SA and now in England. Something should be actually working for him...

1) He is a wonderful wrist spinner with highest quality and batsmen are completely bamboozled with his guile and art

2) Being a chinaman, batsmen are finding it difficult and eventually will be figured out / worked out.

3) Combination of above 2 with some luck

Accuracy is his biggest asset. Usually wrist spinners give a freebie or two every over which acts as release shots for batsmen, you don't get much with Kuldeep though.

he is getting wickets of english batsmen who are trying to defend him. He is ready for tests imo.

He is a special talent and should be strategically used. I wouldn't use him for inconsequential limited over games or against Mickey mouse opponents.

 

In my opinion, he should be a definate starter along with Ashwin for all the home tests. Sorry Jaddu. Jaddu breaks in whenever pitch condition dictates third spinner.

 

For away tests, he would be lethal on most pitches when backed by a cushion of runs.

I don't get this whole strategic resting of good players. He's good enough to evolve.

Batsman are just not picking him, neither do they have a plan against him either to attack or defend

Its just a strategic retreat so that we get to attack at the time of our choosing to extract maximum damage.
