Yes but I think it was more due to inability. Ahmed Shehzad, Hafeez and Azhar Ali...what more can you expect from them. Atleast Hafeez can bash minnows well but the other 2 were just hopeless (barring the SA series where Shehzad played a good role). Misbah as a captain could have done a LOT more by trying a few other players. UrmiSinhaRay 1

Even in his comeback year of 2017, DK has a strike rate of 70 . That is very poor. Pant is the future and it is to embrace that.
