But as a Rahul fan, yoh should not worry about Kohli. He neither have skill or temperament to be like Kohli. Hope he atleast can be as good as Akash Chopra Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Remember Kohli's first overseas tour to England, but he was still better than your idol Dhoni at that point of time who was touring England for the third time and you were busy defending him.

He even claimed none of English batsmen would survive. I understand that he is from Bangalore so you are getting emotional, even I like KL but he is better of for the shorter formats.

But unfortunately we have no means of figuring out who does well in SENS barring pujara who truly ducked this year. How do we identify the next semi laxman/Dravid. Maybe nobody takes test cricket seriously even amongst the current generation. In the end money talks and that is IPL where show ponies rule. Bowlers are cannon fodder and sharmas and hardiks rule.. Indian Test results will go like this in the next few years... At home- will whitewash everyone by preparing rank turners or flat pitches where shitty indian batsmen can pile up runs to cement their positions for away tours. At away tours- Will win the series in Bang,SL and WI. Will get thrashed all the time in Eng, NZ, Aus and SA. No one gives proper test technique any importance now in the current playboy/fashionista type youngsters... this is my prediction. Switchblade and Adi_91 2

It's too soon to judge that. Vijay, Pujara, Rahane are also looking like tailenders. The problem is we lost this because of our bowlers, and there inability to maintain descipline line and lengths for longer periods. This is no way a 200+ wicket.

Give me examples of teams coming back after getting shot down for 100 in 1st innings. Bowlers aren't some celestial beings that will drag us out of the mess every single time. Moreover they had to contend with sunny conditions, poor team selection (2 spinners ) and absence of Bumrah/BK. Chalo maana they are culprits here, had they restricted England to 200 odd can you confidently state that our top order would have done better than this, facing 100 runs deficit? If you have seen their batting in SA and Eng this year no way can you shift the blame for their shortcomings anywhere else. upriser7, Switchblade and raki05 1 2
SK_IH Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Both losers Vijay and Rahul couldn't survive for an hour,we could have none out with this day washed out
putrevus Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 What is the excuse these openers have, they are horrible and I don’t mind both these guys kicked out. Vijay is done and Rahul is useless.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
goose Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 most if not all of the cautious optimism around this tour hinged on performances from Bhuvi and Bumrah. they're not even playing.

If the opposition bowlers can restrict us for 100, then why can't these celestial beings. This is England batting we are talking about, they are just as sh!t as ours and have shown previously just how prone they are to a collapse.

Look at the mindset of our batsman they are looking to survive all the time. They should look to score as well they don't have it in them Lani the batting is a collection of individuals rather than a team.
asterix Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 Each Indian batsmen should now just play for 30 mins and even if not out just make way for another batsman...Let the beer guzzling English crowd full pleasure and just give the match to them and finish it off...

They can't do that every time and definitely not in sunny conditions with wrong bowling combination and 2 mainstays missing. They did hand over the 1st test to us but Dhawan with his catching chewtiyapa and then batsmen screwed us over. There is no defence for these batsmen and Rahul needs to face the music just like Vijay, Dhawan, Che, Rahane and Karthik.
