Its better for us to hide Rohit from the new ball as long as possible in england ( even if the pitch is flat ) , and we need a belter against pace in the death  overs.

Not sure because Rohit will be a dot ball machine in the middle overs but seriously it's worth a try to get rid of rayadu and get Rahul in

No , rohit will fail as he did at start 

Right now he is an asset dnt make him a liability

 

the reason opening works for rohit

• He can pace his innings acc, in middle he ll have to pace acc to situtaion
• he can play out balls and cover it in PP only
• he likes the new ball coming on to that bat , rather facing spin at start and now he is facing issues with googlies also 
• he is not much into strike rotation so he likes getting set and then he plays enough shots 

Their was a reason he failed at that place for long and became instantly successful when he started opening

Dhoni at 7 because then he has no choice but to go full bonkers. Seriously I don't have an issue with dhoni if he comes in attacks and gets out. That's much better than what he's been doing. Rayadu on the other hand I can't stand him. Never liked him. Don't like him now. And wont ever like him.

I think Kohli should move to no.4 with Rahul batting at 3. I know he has impeccable record at 3 but he is terrific at rotating the strike and will be perfect in the middle order.

That will end his carrier too. He will fail and never be good player again as opener or middle order.

After playing for good last 3-4 years as opener, now we are just few months away from the world cup, I won’t like to bring him in the middle all of a sudden.

 

Sanity must prevail and give players like Rahul a proper chance in the middle. If they fail miserably for few series then drop them. Let Rohit bat as is.

 

Top Order of Rohit-Dhawan-Kohli should stay as is. Need to worry about rest of them.

Has a starting problem so cant go below 4. Question is can rahul do was rohit does as an opener ?

 

I do however wonder how dhawan would perform in middle order ?

I thought abt playing rohit at 4 as a finisher but he is vunerable against the spinners when starting the innings . So the opening is best for him

.

Infact u are better off playing kohli at 4 and sending rahul at 3 specially if wicket falls early
