I am laughing at reading all these. Rather than being happy that the greatest batsman and the greatest ODI batsman both are from india they are fighting .

If gill lives upto the potential, Kohli fans will do the same. They are even more ruthless. They got a journo twitter account suspended because of a joke. :giggle:

Damn these all theorems went over my head but one thing is for sure Dhoni's 10k runs with Free Bonus PR are anyday better than sachin or virat's 10k runs.

10000 in 205 games. That is almost 50 runs per innings even if you do normal maths and dont exclude the not outs. :yikes:

god of risk free batting :p:

Vass,Murali,Dharamsena were poor bowlers?

Vaas was not a great bowler at that time, just a decent bowler.   Murli was not the same Murli in 99.  He only became good later once he added doosra and started chucking blatantly.  His 99 bowling action and later bowling action of mid 2000s was completely different  Dharmsena very ordinary bowler, straight up and down, barely turned a ball.

But they were hammering us or restricting us to a manageable total.

Their batting was good and our batting and team was struggling with match fixing.  Also we did not have good batsman at that time.  We did not have a good keeper/bat.  We just had 3 good batsman in SRT, Dravid, and Ganguly.  Dravid was not the best ODI bat then. So, only Ganguly and SRT left.   Some players were involved in fixing as well.  still our team had thrashed SL in 99 WC scoring 373 runs.  Vaas went for 84, ganguly 183.
