The incident unfolded when Sharma said to Jadeja: “Don’t wave your hand at me. If you want something, come to me and say it.”

Jadeja responded: “Why are you saying so much?

Sharma replied: “Don’t wave your hand at me. Don’t take out your anger on me. I’ll take your anger and shove it up your a***. I will shove your anger up your a***.”

Jadeja’s next comment was not picked up by stump microphones but Sharma replied: “Don’t tell me also. Don’t talk bulls**t.”

Sharma seems to be at fault here. Waving to other players in the field is common to get their attention, why was he making a big fuss of it? As if be never waves at others !!

Leaving the mic open is leading to all such controversies. I am sure all team, including our own teams, have had such skirmishes between two individuals all the time.

 

Our media tends to look for such stories especially when we lose tests. Another favorite story of the Indian media when we are not doing well is why are they skipping practice, why have they gone for shopping or why have they gone to dine out after a loss. They add some hilarious headlines, add some music to make it a crime worse than murdering someone.

What are we expecting? Bunch of 30 yo dudes would all be goody goody and nicey nice to each other 24/7?

I'm pretty sure Ishant started it. His 2.0 performance and best buddies with kaptaan has made him think he's a senior member and an important cog in the team. When that happens, anything can be seen as a disrespect. Seriously waving hands is considered disrespect. Unbeleivable . Someone remind him he's the shittiest bowler to play 50 tests for a proud cricketing nation. Ishant would be knocked out cold if it was a fist fight. Even Sachin can beat him

Such incidents means there is no team. I remember aussies fighting in past( Mr Cricket), English fighting in past(Struass) Pakistani fighting(Afridi) in past, and during the period, they lost games which they could have won.

So, there is massive issue in team.

Have you ever shared space with bunch of guys? Even best friends fight on ground and when they live together. Doesn't mean they don't patch up immediately.

The hype around Ishant 2.0 started after the England series. He was piss poor in 80+ tests. Kohli is shielding his best buddy from playing in India where his real aukaat will emerge. Thats why he used Umesh in India. Why didnt he play those past 20 tests in India

Under Dhoni, he complained that he wasnt getting picked. So he picked him to give him a long rope to hang himself. Under Kohli, he became "strike" bowler all of a sudden beating teams like SL who are at minnow level now.

Wasim Akram in an interview hinted at Sharma refusing to bowl in the nets when he was part of KKR . That must be the reason for bevda saying "to hell with nets". Australian pacers bowled in the nets whereas Sharma was having romantic quality time with Kohli

Sharma bias transcends captaincy & regions. It started & flourished in Dhoni's time. At least Ishant is contributing consistently now as third seamer. He could have simply said what he doesn't like normally rather than act like a "I don't take not **** will shove up it up yours" asshole dude.

Somehow this is never used for bhuvi. Dude averages 20 in last 2 years and 26 in his career of 21 matches

Yes, all the time. There is difference. When we are angry , and want to send message across, we don’t swear. When we swear, we swear with smile and laugh. 

In this case there was swear and no smile at the end

Swear with smile, when you're angry? How does that work?

 

During my college days people used to get real angry during random evening cricket matches. It happens at work and every sphere of life. It's not unusual and sometimes people don't forget it but most of the time people get over it in a day or two.
