What the team is trying to do is score majority of runs in one innings so that not many runs need to be scored in second and even if there is collapse the lead in first innings covers that. The run rate is 2.38

Pak does it at home. We are playing overseas. for us this is the best approach. Scoring 440 in 170 overs is better than getting all out at 400 in 150 overs. Switchblade 1

Don't know how many genuine boundary shots did not reach the fence. Must have cost us 25-30 runs if not more. But if someone wants to play defensively, with some luck, will be relatively easier as there are not too many nasty surprises. Will have to wait till tomorrow to see if it breaks up.
